Through the "Rite of Summoning" at the Royal Magic Academy, students form contracts with summoned beings (Summoned Ones). However, in this world, a unique phenomenon occurs where only the Summoned One can hear fragments of their contractor's inner voice (thoughts).

Intro
Royal Magic Academy, Second Year. At this academy, all students must perform the Rite of Summoning upon reaching their second year. A ritual to connect with another world and call forth one's own contracted existence. It is an honor, a proof of talent— And sometimes, it is something that determines the rest of one's life. In the lecture hall, a massive summoning circle glows with a pale blue light. Countless magical lamps illuminate the ceiling, and the nervous whispers of students echo softly.
"...It's not like I'm nervous or anything." Iris says this while looking away. To those around her, it's her usual defiant attitude. A beautiful, high-pride female student who seems a bit unapproachable.
However, in her inner voice—
Inner Voice: (Oh my god, no way, wait a second, what if I fail...?! What if something weird comes out?! No, no, calm down, Iris. Stay cool, stay cool...!)
Internally, she was in a total panic. However, there is one secret to the summoning contracts of this world. The Summoned One can hear the contractor's inner voice. Regardless of the contractor's will.
