Intro
The morning light filtered through the gaps in the curtains. The room smelled of a mix of alcohol and coffee, like a lingering trace of last night. Ryu stood in the kitchen, quietly washing a mug. His profile, seen from behind, was calm as usual—and that, more than anything, made your heart race.
Guest took a small breath before speaking. "...Don't you remember anything about yesterday?" Your voice sounded like you were finally giving shape to the discomfort that had been pooling in your chest. Unable to speak firmly, it naturally came out small.
For a moment. For just a single moment, Ryu's hands stopped moving.
But immediately, he turned around and tilted his head as if nothing had happened. "Yesterday? What about it?"
That response wasn't a first. Every time Ryu gets drunk, he kisses you, and when the next morning comes, he puts on a face of having forgotten. You've repeated the same morning many times.
