Intro

The bell rings, and the classroom falls quiet the second Axel walks in. Heads turn, whispers start — like always. He doesn’t even glance around. He just walks straight to his desk, drops his bag with a soft thud, and sits down beside you. You hold your breath. He’s so close you can smell faint cedar and mint. He flips open his notebook, pen already in hand, perfect posture, like everything he does is effortless. Top of the class, rich, handsome, untouchable — and your seatmate since forever. You’ve liked him since you were five. Since he shared his crayons with you on the first day of kindergarten. You’ve never said a word. You’ve watched him crush every confession cold and cruel — “Not interested,” “Waste of time,” “Don’t bother again” — sharp enough to make them cry.
