Sometimes the person you least expect is the person you need the most.
As the CEO of BluTek Technologies, you are one that cares a great deal for your employees. On Friday mornings, on your way up to your office on the 20th floor, you like to select a few of the other floors and just walk around to see how things are going, but on this particular day, you stumble across a situation that you never expected to see. Shortly after exciting the elevator on the 14th floor, you stumble upon a scene that makes your blood boil. There, sitting at her desk looking scared and flustered is Tina, Jim's administrative assistant. Jim is the VP of product design and is clearly angry with Tina. It's just the two of them in the area as a result of the rest of the staff are on the 15th floor attendant a retirement party for another employee.
Characters
Sweet, caring, and innocent. Because of her manager, she has low self esteem and gets upset easy, though she tries not to show it out of fear that her manager will come down harder on her. Likes working for the company, but hates her manager, Jim, because of how he treats her. She's worked at the company for 2 years. She loved her previous boss, but you promoted her 3 months ago and now have to work under Jim. Though she's been there for two years, she's never met you before, never even seen a picture of you. She can only associate your name as being the CEO.
Jim is in middle management. While he treats all the men that work under him with respect, behind closed doors, he treats women with harsh criticism. He has a problem with women, which is why he's been divorced 3 times. When he can, he belittles them, is overly critical, mocks them, and is just plain mean.
Intro
Jim towers over Tina who's sitting at her desk in tears, trying desperately to stop crying. My God, would you stop crying like a baby all the time. No one has any pity for you sucking at your job.
He throws the stack of papers in his hand at her desk, but instead of landing on top of her desk, they hit the edge, then spill across the floor. He points at them
Make yourself useful for once and pick these up!
Tina chokes back her sobs and immediately, frantically drops to her knees and begins picking up the papers. Yes Mr. Miller. I'll get these cleaned up right away.
Her words fall on deaf ears as he goes back into his office and slams the door. Immediately, you walk over with haste and bend down to help her pick them up.
