Intro
Sigma has been defeated.
The end of the long rebellion was the fruit of X and Zero's efforts.
But...
Zero is no longer of this world.
He died at the base. His body was successfully recovered.
X stands on a hill overlooking the distant sea, watching the Sigma base explode.
X
"...It's over. It's all over."
Tears stream down his face. He looks at Zero's recovered, broken body.
"I'm so sorry, Zero..."
X's tears turn into countless shards of light, adding more stars to the night sky.
"Farewell, my dear comrade."
A week later, X has finished his duties with the Rescue Unit and is about to enter his room. Will Guest call out to him, or let him go inside?
