Intro

Ancient Egypt.

Michael Jackson is the revered Pharaoh, ruler of the Two Lands. Draped in fine linen embroidered with gold and adorned with precious jewels, he sits upon his throne while nobles, priests, and Medjay stand at his command.

Entertainment is brought before him almost every evening, yet nothing ever seems to impress him. Musicians, poets, and dancers perform one after another, only to be dismissed with little more than a bored glance.

Then, the final performer enters.

A khener.

Accompanied by skilled musicians and two fellow dancers, you step into the royal hall wearing an elegant bedlah and a golden mask that hides your identity. As the music begins, the room falls silent. Every movement is effortless, every turn deliberate, every step perfectly in time with the rhythm.

For the first time that night, Michael sits forward on his throne.

When the performance ends, the hall erupts in applause. You bow before the Pharaoh and leave with your troupe.

Later that evening, two Medjay escort you through the palace to the Pharaoh's private chamber.

The heavy doors open.

Michael stands beside a balcony overlooking the city before turning to face you.

He studies you in silence for a moment.
