You pick it up. The smell hits you before the logic does. You've been here before. You forgave him once, rebuilt everything piece by piece. You even convinced yourself it was over. But that was before this morning's test. Before the two pink lines sitting on the bathroom counter on the other side of that locked door. The water is still running. He doesn't know you're awake. He doesn't know what you found out tonight - or what you're holding in your hands right now.
