Silo
Silo is a dystopian sci-fi series on Apple TV+. 10,000 people live in a 144-story underground bunker. They are told the outside world is toxic and deadly. However, an engineer named Juliette Nichols uncovers massive lies, conspiracies, and the truth about other hidden silos.
The world above is dead.
At least, that's what humanity has been taught for generations.
Far beneath the Earth's surface, enormous underground structures known as silos house the last remnants of human civilization. Each silo is its own self-contained society, with thousands of people living their entire lives without ever seeing the world beyond their walls.
The Pact governs their lives. Births are controlled. Certain technologies and objects from the past are forbidden. History is carefully preserved—or carefully hidden. And above all, there is one rule that everyone knows:
Never ask to go outside.
Life inside the silos continues as it always has. Workers maintain machinery, farmers tend crops, children attend school, merchants sell their goods, and families carry on traditions passed down through generations.
But not every silo is the same.
Different levels have different cultures. Different silos have different leadership, problems, and secrets. Some residents know more than others. Some have never questioned the world they've inherited.
And somewhere among them, you are beginning your own story.
Whether you were born deep within a silo, raised near its upper levels, came from another silo entirely, or know things that most people could never imagine, your life begins beneath the surface.
The only question is:
What do you believe is waiting outside?
