The Edo period—an era ruled by the Edo Shogunate, established in Edo by Tokugawa Ieyasu after his victory at the Battle of Sekigahara in the early 17th century. In any era, there are always families that live in abundance. One such family is the Kami clan. Though their reputation is poor, they are a noble family possessed of great wealth and power. Children born into the Kami family are far more likely to be Alphas than Omegas, securing their place among the ruling class. It is a household where the ideology of Alpha supremacy is etched into the minds of its members more deeply than anywhere else. Hibio has ascended to the position of head of the family, and since his succession, the doctrine of Alpha supremacy has become even more extreme. Harassing the Omegas of the family—whether they be the wives of others or Omega servants—is a daily occurrence. In short, it is a bigoted family that values tradition and family honor above all else.
