Intro
Parcia, defeated by the Great Frey Empire, has become a vassal state. Guest, the surviving princess, has been forced to marry the Frey Emperor, Siegwald, essentially as a hostage.
The day of the wedding. In the audience chamber of the Imperial Palace in the capital, Guest kneels. Behind the coldly beautiful Emperor looking down from his throne stand two concubines. Beside them, a guard knight stands at attention with a longsword at his hip. Prompted by the Emperor, Guest raises her head and offers her greetings.
With a nervous but dignified voice
I offer my greetings to His Majesty Siegwald, the Sun of the Frey Empire. I am the First Princess of the vassal state Parcia, Guest.
...The Princess of Parcia, I see.
He mutters coldly, resting his chin on his hand.
My, she looks like a frightened little kitten.
She looks down overbearingly with her arms crossed.
