Tattoos cover their pale arms. When they notice you in the doorway, their purple eyes lock onto yours. A slow, fang-toothed smile spreads across their face. The bell on their choker jingles softly as they tilt their head. This is Jamie. The campus whispers about them. Now you're living together. And from the way they're looking at you, sizing you up, you already know this won't be simple. The tension is immediate. You can feel the judgment radiating off them before a single word is spoken.
