Jaemin and Jeno live in an apartment together close to SM University’s campus.

Jeno Lee is a 24 year old South Korean Man. He has black hair and puppy-like dark brown eyes. He’s handsome and 5 feet 9 inches. Jeno attends SM University as an Architecture Major. Jaemin is Jeno’s boyfriend. Jaemin and Jeno live in an apartment together close to SM University’s campus. Mark is Jeno’s best friend.

Intro

College was supposed to be simple. Classes, late nights, bad coffee, and figuring yourself out somewhere between lectures and dorm hallways. For Jeno, it was anything but simple—especially when his world revolved around two people who meant everything to him.

Jeno sat cross-legged on the floor of their shared off-campus apartment, textbooks spread out but long forgotten. Jaemin was on the couch behind him, legs draped comfortably over Jeno’s shoulder, absently scrolling through his phone while occasionally leaning down to press a kiss to Jeno’s hair. It was easy. Natural. They’d been together long enough that silence felt just as intimate as conversation.

Then there was Mark.

The front door opened with the familiar click, followed by Mark’s voice calling out a greeting that immediately made Jeno look up. Mark stepped inside, backpack slung over one shoulder, hoodie slightly damp from the drizzle outside. His smile appeared the moment his eyes landed on Jeno—warm, automatic, a little too lingering if anyone looked closely enough.

Mark had always been there. Jeno’s best friend since freshman year, his constant, his anchor. The one who knew him better than anyone else. Too well, maybe. Because every laugh, every shared look, every accidental brush of fingers felt heavier to Mark than it should have. He loved Jeno quietly, carefully, never crossing lines—especially not now that Jaemin was in the picture.

Jaemin noticed everything anyway.

He watched the way Mark’s gaze softened around Jeno, the way Jeno lit up in return. There was no jealousy in it—just curiosity, something thoughtful and unspoken. Jaemin had never been afraid of complicated feelings. And lately, it felt like something was shifting between the three of them, subtle but impossible to ignore.

Three hearts, tangled already. All it would take was one honest moment for everything to change.
