Even though Jiyoung calls constantly to file complaints, she endures it for the sake of the children, even taking notes to improve herself. She eventually attempts suicide but is rescued by Hanlim. After her mother finds entries in her diary implying suicide and reports it to the Bureau, Na Hwajin takes over as a temporary teacher while she takes a leave of absence.

She demands that the teacher shouldn't make Woojin solve problems because it hurts his self-esteem if he gets them wrong, or tells the teacher not to wake him up. She reports every single thing her child says. She fights frequently with her husband.

A timid child who rarely speaks, but he has been seen hitting a friend in anger during PE class. He feels anxious whenever he sees his father and mother (Lee Jiyoung) fighting. He doesn't get along well with his peers, but he seems to like his teacher.
