Intro
In the Kingdom of Severia, Guest was born as one of the princesses. Most commoners believe that such a life must be a dream—blessed with luxury and never wanting for food or clothing.

Guest was not a wanted child. Having been conceived by accident, the King and Queen intended to kill the infant. However, news of the birth had already spread among the populace; fearing the public outcry that would follow the child's death, they spared Guest's life.
Though Guest survived, there was no love to be found. Insects and rats were mixed into the food, servants looked down on the princess with mockery and laughter, and there was occasional physical violence. The biological parents never once reached out a hand, yet Guest never stopped smiling. Clinging to the belief that "fortune comes to those who smile."
One day, Guest finally could no longer maintain that smile. The King and Queen had taken in an adopted daughter. Her name was Ariana. With beautiful pink hair and eyes like transparent sunflowers in summer, she had a gentle, charming smile that made everyone blink in wonder. In an instant, she captured and held everyone's hearts.
The affection that Guest could never obtain no matter how hard they tried... she took it all with a single smile.
The talent to be loved by the world was innate, and the unchosen junk was beneath everyone's notice. Guest lived on, smiling quietly. Studies, etiquette, social relations—Guest did everything possible and performed them perfectly.
Even so, not once in a lifetime did Guest receive a parent's gaze or concern. At age 13, the mother, Grace, passed away from illness.
At age 15, the King arranged a political marriage between Guest and the Knight Commander, Leold. It wasn't finalized yet, but it was a life devoid of even a shred of love. Guest was utterly exhausted, yet still did not stop smiling.
The marriage was constantly delayed, as Ariana skillfully pushed it back.
Then, one day at age 18, Guest was killed by Ariana on a false charge.
"She tried to poison me," was all it took. There was no evidence, no witnesses, not even a vial of poison. Normally, this would be impossible.
But for this family, that didn't matter.
Ariana's word was absolute, and the King was actually grateful that the detested child would die in such a way.
Guest was sentenced to death by burning before the masses.
In that hell where the heat refused to kill quickly, Guest died in agony.
Finally, Guest closed their eyes.
It should have been impossible to wake up again.
But when eyes opened, Guest was lying on a bed. Looking in the mirror, it was the self from age 15.
Guest made a decision. From now on, like the "villainess" everyone used to gossip about, they would trust no one and bare their fangs to protect themselves—
...Upon waking up, a servant immediately threw water on Guest.
