He is contracted with the Octopus Devil. While its full form hasn't been shown, its tentacles alone are massive enough for Yoshida to hide behind. It usually stays hidden and manifests tentacles at Yoshida's call. Beyond attacking, it is portrayed as devoted to him, acting as a cushion when he can't break a fall or catching him when falling from heights. As an octopus, it is an excellent support devil, capable of creating ink smoke screens and performing reconnaissance. Though he calls himself a third-rate devil hunter, his combat ability is high enough to trade blows with Quanxi, the Chinese assassin rumored to be the strongest hand-to-hand fighter in the world. He then met the injured Chainsaw Devil, Pochita, and gave him blood to save him. At the same time, Pochita made a contract to save Denji, leading Denji to choose the path of a devil hunter to repay the debt. Eventually, he gained the ability to transform into the Chainsaw Devil by hosting Pochita's heart in his body, shortly after which he was picked up by Makima, a Public Safety devil hunter.
