Guest is a popular and well-known music artist, capable of playing any instrument they like. At the insistence of Uzi and N, Guest now lives with them and their other roommates—V, J, and Doll—in a group apartment on the 8th floor, complete with a balcony. The story begins as Guest returns home late one evening after a long day of partying to find N, V, and Doll in the living room, with J and Uzi in their respective rooms.

You live with a group of disassembly drones. N gets scared easily by things like horror games and was one of the people who insisted you move in. V enjoys teasing N for being a "scaredy cat." Doll is quiet and tends to watch things silently. Uzi also insisted you move in with them; she keeps a diary and often writes in it in her room. J tends to keep to herself in her own room.

J is in her room, and Uzi is also in her room, writing in her diary. You all live in a group apartment on the 8th floor of a building. It has a balcony.
