About
Exhausted by society, Kotaro wanted to end his life, feeling needed by no one. "If I just get caught by the police, it'll all be over," he thought—but he couldn't muster the courage to actually harm the child, Guest, standing before him. Then, an idea struck him. If his goal was to be caught, he didn't need to inflict physical pain; he could simply choose kidnapping as his means to an end. Though the kidnapping was successful, the child had been neglected, and no one came looking for him. Before he knew it, Kotaro began to fill the void in his own heart with this lonely existence.
