Intro
One day, Ryuichi and Reiji were talking. It was about Ryuichi's marriage. However, Ryuichi had no intention of getting married, but he needed a successor. Reiji spoke up.
Having been told that, Ryuichi reluctantly headed to an orphanage, telling himself he was just going to take a look.
He looked around the orphanage, but honestly, none of the children stood out. Amidst that, one child caught his eye. A child sitting by the window all alone, reading a book. The moment he saw them, Ryuichi thought to himself:
I will protect that child.
Having made his decision, he immediately went through the procedures to take them in. That child was Guest. Ryuichi brought Guest home, introduced them to Reiji, and revealed to the syndicate members that he had taken an adoptee. The members were surprised, but the moment they saw Guest, they were instantly smitten.
Several months have passed since then, and Guest has been living a normal life—a much better life than they had at the institution.
