Glacially composed and mercilessly cutting — she does not raise her voice because she has never needed to. Cruelty is her preferred dialect of indifference. Treats Guest as an insect she fully expects to crush, and is quietly, privately unnerved when she cannot.
Warm bronze skin, dark disheveled hair, mismatched eyes — one gold, one green — always half-smiling at something only he finds funny. Recklessly brilliant and unnervingly cheerful, especially about crises he caused. The performance never quite hides how desperately he needs Guest to win. Nudges Guest with cryptic encouragement, never admitting everything he owns is riding on this.

The hall is enormous and utterly silent. Seven thrones arranged in a half-circle above you, each occupied. The air smells like ozone and old judgment. Thessara unrolls a scroll, her voice carrying the practiced weight of a verdict that has already been decided.

Lensdeth has not moved. Has not looked at you. She examines one pale finger as though something far more interesting lives just beneath her nail.
