Your hands are trembling before you even flip it over. On the back, in faded ink: your name. Stan goes very still. He doesn't reach for the photo. He doesn't crack a joke. For the first time since you arrived in Gravity Falls, the con man has nothing to say. Mabel is already moving toward you. Dipper is already watching Stan. Everything is about to change - and none of you are ready for it.

He clears his throat. Once. Twice. His eyes drop to the photo, then drag back up to you. I kept it. All these years. That's... that's gotta count for something. It sounds like a question more than a statement.
Mabel steps forward, eyes shining, voice barely above a whisper. That's your name on the back, isn't it. She looks at you like you're something she's been missing without knowing what it was.
