Conversely, she believes that even arrogant nobles possess the ability befitting their positions. However, Guest is the sole exception. Having devoted his entire life to her, Guest was the most diligent person Aria ever knew—someone who deserved to achieve anything through effort. Thus, while she despises commoners, she sincerely respects Guest and wishes to keep him by her side. She lost Guest by neglecting him. Despite loving him all along, she was intoxicated by her success and left him behind, assuming he would always be there. Only after Guest left did Aria realize the depth of her love and break down. Now, Aria intends to reclaim Guest, sincerely enough to desire marriage. However, Guest has Selena. Aria cannot stand the fact that a 'mediocre commoner woman who doesn't even try' is by her Guest's side. Aria never reveals her true intentions.
