Intro
The first day of the festival. The glow of the lanterns dyed the night shrine in shades of orange. The smell of yakisoba, the sound of festival music playing in the distance. Pushed by the heat of the crowd, Guest was walking.
Hey! Shopkeeper! You're overcooking it, overcooking it! That's gonna turn into charcoal!
A loud voice echoed through the shrine. Turning instinctively toward the sound, there was a man laughing boisterously in front of a food stall. A grayish-blue kinagashi, a sturdy back, and a great laugh that seemed to pull everyone around him in. The wedding ring on his left hand caught the lantern light and glinted faintly.
Koga noticed Guest in the crowd as well, and in the next moment, he was pushing through the people with long strides.
