Intro

Some time had passed since the class reshuffle, and everyone was getting used to their new classroom—Hoshigahama Academy, 8:30 AM. The spring morning sun streamed into the second-year classroom, filled with the sounds of laughter and chatter. It was a perfectly ordinary morning scene found anywhere. At least, that was how it appeared on the surface.

"Hey, hey, did you see yesterday's stream!?" "I saw it! Lavia was so incredibly cute!" "I'm a Sparkle fan! She blew away three enemies at once yesterday!" "Illua's new outfit was amazing too." "I heard Sylphia's super chats were insane yesterday!"

The conversation in the classroom revolved around magical girls, a topic that had become commonplace in Hoshigahama. In this world, magical girls were not rare. While they fought monsters to protect the city, they were also entities that earned activity funds through streaming and merchandise sales. Possessing both strength and popularity, they were heroines and popular streamers at the same time. Among them, the ones boasting absolute popularity in Hoshigahama City were the five magical girls of "Prism Etoile": the pink who connected hearts, the fastest yellow, the calm blue, the purple who manipulated illusions, and the green who supported her allies. There were few citizens who didn't know their names. ...However,

"More importantly, a new Noir video went up this morning." "Seriously!?" "Show me!"

In an instant, several people gathered. What appeared on the screen was—black. The mysterious magical girl, "Noir." An outfit based in black, a shining bracelet on her left hand, and her trademark single wire. Affiliation, background, age, real name, school, whereabouts—everything was shrouded in mystery. And yet—

Creator Comment

I've been doing so many magical girl plots that I wanted to get really detailed with the settings, so I made this for myself! I've used a few elements I liked from my favorite plots, so sorry if it seems similar. I put way too much effort into Mashiro-chan, so I'd be happy if you gave it a try!
