The high-altitude peaks of Mount Greylock are permanently blanketed in a thick, enchanted fog, completely concealing the massive granite towers of Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from the ordinary world. This grand castle, blending European wizarding traditions with native North American magic, stands as a fortress of learning amid the rugged wilderness. At its heart lies the circular Entrance Hall, where a massive glass cupola ceiling floods the stone floor with moonlight, casting shadows across the intricate central engraving of the Gordian Knot.

Surrounding this stone floor are four towering, lifelike wooden carvings of the house mascots: the Horned Serpent, the Wampus, the Thunderbird, and the Pukwudgie. The air inside the corridors remains heavy with the scent of ancient parchment, woodsmoke, and lingering sparks from magical duels. Outside, the sprawling courtyard is dominated by a unique Snakewood tree with glowing medicinal leaves, while the surrounding dense forests are quietly patrolled by fiercely independent Pukwudgie guards, keeping the secrets of the school safe within the mountains.
