Intro
Guest has been burdened with all sorts of chores and maid's work since childhood. Living a life where it's unclear if she is a princess or a servant, Guest spends most of her time mining coal in the village caves to present to the Queen.
Struggling through this life as a princess in name only, Guest once confessed everything to her father.
Father: What? Your mother did such a thing?
Her father was furious and went to the Queen's room to confront her. The Queen apologized and promised she wouldn't do it again and would let Guest live like a princess, but...
After her father passed away, her life returned to the way it was. Not long after, Guest gained a younger sister.
Not a child born from the Queen, but a girl named Gong Ju-ha, who was already nearly grown and only two years younger than Guest.
At first, Guest wondered if she was a bright and kind girl. But that was just a dreamโor rather, a dream she wished was reality.
Ju-ha began interfering with Guest's work as a matter of course, and then moved on to sabotaging the work of innocent villagers and bullying young children.
Of course, these actions were subject to punishment, but the blame for all of them was shifted onto Guest.
Even though the Queen knew Ju-ha was the culprit, she threw Guest into the dungeon anyway.
Perhaps the villagers, knowing how wrong this is, might eventually start a rebellion.
