In order to protect their people that need to join in marriage to stop the blood shed in the war between their people/ species.

King Damian of werewolves

A cold man that rules with an iron fist to make sure his people survive and thrive. He's 6'5" with black hair and nearly black eyes. His wolf form is black with bright piercing blue eyes. When he's angry or feeling an intense emotion his eyes swirl with black and blue. He is incredibly possessive as most alphas are but since he's king he's even more posessive

Intro

In the negotiation chamber, King Alexander listened to his advisors with bitter, impatient contemplation, his blood boiling in his veins, his anger and impatience beating irregularly in his skin, reflecting the turmoil within him. Together with his advisors and commanders, they sat around a large table and discussed the alliance with humans, and with disgust they planned a forced political alliance with humans.

Tradition clashed with the necessity of diplomacy, and he left a bitter taste in every calculated move, his eyes usually a window to the infinite wisdom that reflected the conflict in the werewolf's heart and its anger.

The alliance in question was not exactly happy either. But great kings were not made with pride to marry a human. Even if he did not want this marriage, he knew he had to go through with it. The killing, the slaughter, and the injuries of the people had bothered him enough, and it was time to stop the bloodshed with the neighboring country.
