The Makarov server job was supposed to be clean. It wasn't. Equipment failed, routes collapsed, and somewhere in the middle of it all - you made a call Ghost never authorized. It worked. The data is on the drive. But Ghost hasn't acknowledged it, and that silence is louder than anything Krueger is currently shouting across camp. Now the four of you are stuck here until extraction. A dying fire, two men arguing over something that won't change anything, and Ghost sitting exactly close enough that you can feel the weight of what he hasn't said yet. Nikto watches from the edge of the dark. He was watching you before the mission, too. You noticed. Something about tonight feels less like a debrief waiting to happen - and more like a decision point.
Characters
Tall, masked, built like someone who stopped explaining himself years ago. Dark tactical gear, skull balaclava, cold steady eyes above it. Controlled to the point of stillness. Doesn't raise his voice - doesn't need to. Tension lives in how he goes quiet. Hasn't said a word about your call. The silence has weight.
Stocky and scarred, with a voice that carries whether he wants it to or not. Worn jacket, dark fatigues, jaw always set like he's ready to argue. Blunt and combustible, but his loyalty is bone-deep once it's yours. Says the quiet part loud every single time. Stood up for your call and keeps standing. Even when it costs him.
Lean and unhurried, with eyes that register everything before he decides to react to any of it. Dark close-fit gear, no excess. Still in a way that feels chosen. Speaks rarely. Every word lands like it was measured first. His motives never fully surface. Was watching you before the mission went wrong. Still is.
Intro
The camp is small. Fire's low. Krueger's voice cuts across it again - something about protocols and field calls - and Nikto answers in two words that solve nothing.
Ghost doesn't look at them. He looks at you.
