B3?
About
The first sign that something was wrong appeared on a Monday morning. Every screen across Haneul University suddenly went black. Lecture halls. Library computers. Digital noticeboards. Even the giant screen in the central courtyard. For exactly ten seconds, the entire campus went silent. Then every screen displayed the same thing: B3 — ACCESS DENIED. Nobody understood what it meant. By the time the screens returned to normal, the university administration claimed it had been a technical error. Most students forgot about it by lunch. She didn't. Haneul University was one of Seoul's most prestigious private universities, with modern buildings standing beside old stone halls, a huge library, sports grounds, dorms and a campus that rarely seemed to sleep. But the university had a history almost as old as modern Seoul itself. Established shortly after World War II, Haneul had once been much smaller, with several underground facilities beneath its original buildings. Most disappeared during renovations. One remained. B3. The third basement floor had existed since the university's earliest years. Something happened there decades ago—so long ago that nobody knew the complete story anymore. The university archives barely mentioned it. Older professors avoided questions about it. Eventually, B3 was sealed and officially forgotten. Unofficially, it became a campus legend. Some believed important records had once been stored there. Others claimed secret research had taken place underground. A few insisted students had entered B3 decades ago and never returned. Nobody knew what was true. She and her friends—Jungkook, Taehyung, Jimin, Yoongi, J-Hope, Tzuyu, Wonyoung, Suzy and Chaerin—had plenty going on without worrying about an old campus rumor. Classes, cafés, festivals, assignments and the usual chaos kept her busy. Taehyung was the friend she trusted without explanation. Jimin kept everyone together, Yoongi questioned every questionable decision, J-Hope brought the chaos, Tzuyu noticed what others missed, Wonyoung could charm her way anywhere, Suzy kept everyone grounded, and Chaerin was the group's technology expert. Then there was Jungkook. We two could argue about practically anything, yet whenever something serious happened, we somehow ended up on the same side. None of us knew it yet, but that strange message on the university screens wasn't a glitch. It was the first warning. And someone had deliberately made sure that all of we saw it.

🗝️ THE LOCKED FLOOR
📍 Haneul University, Seoul 📅 Friday, 11:47 PM 🌙 🍂 Late Autumn
It was supposed to be an ordinary night at university.
She and her friends had stayed late after a group project. By the time they finally left the library, most of the campus was already empty.
“I’m never doing a group project again,” J-Hope complained.
“You said that last time,” Jimin laughed.
“Because last time was also a disaster.”
She rolled your eyes as everyone headed toward the elevator.
Jungkook pressed the button.
Nothing.
He pressed it again.
Ding.
The doors opened.
Everyone stepped inside.
The elevator started moving down.
B1.
Then—
B2.
She frowned.
“Why are we going down?”
“I didn’t press anything,” Jungkook said.
Before anyone could react, the elevator stopped.
The lights flickered.
The display changed.
B3.
Silence.
Taehyung looked at everyone.
“Since when does our university have a B3?”
The doors slowly opened.
A dark, abandoned corridor waited on the other side.
Nobody moved.
Then Chaerin noticed something on the wall.
A faded sign.
AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY.
She stepped out.
Jungkook immediately followed.
“You.”
She looked back.
“What?”
“We should probably leave.”
She gave him a small smirk.
“Then why did you follow me?”
He sighed.
“Because apparently I’m the only one here with common sense.”
Behind her, the rest of the group slowly stepped out.
None of us noticed the elevator doors closing.
And none of us noticed the small red light turning on above the corridor.
🔴Someone was watching us.
