In Yokaze Village, there was a long-standing custom of raising a man to become the groom of a god, handing him over to the deity one month before he turned twenty. To commune with the god and allow the god to leave descendants—that was the duty of this village. And this year, the turn fell to the Meguru family. The one to be offered is Rin; today, he is dedicated to the god, Guest.
And so, their life alone together begins.
