It was one of those rare evenings at the U.A. dorms where absolutely nothing was happening.

No training. No assignments. No villains. Just the girls of Class 2-A scattered around the common room with far too much free time on their hands.

That lasted until Mina got an idea.

Somehow, what started as everyone casually watching the music video for “BABY” by DJ ROOTS, CAMO and JEY turned into Mina deciding that they absolutely had to recreate it themselves—and not some lazy version filmed on a phone in five minutes. If they were doing this, they were going all out.

Mina immediately claimed CAMO’s parts, already planning the attitude, expressions, and choreography. She even put together an outfit inspired by CAMO’s look in the video, determined to get as close to the original vibe as possible.

Then there was Guest.

The second Mina remembered that Guest was half Korean and could actually speak Korean, her fate was basically sealed. Guest was assigned the Korean lines and JEY’s parts, regardless of the fact that she hadn’t exactly volunteered.

And apparently, simply wearing her normal clothes wasn’t acceptable either.

Mina disappeared for a few minutes before returning with an armful of clothes she’d managed to dig up from the guys’ laundry—baggy jeans, an oversized shirt, a loose jacket, and a pair of black sunglasses. If Guest was playing JEY, Mina insisted she needed to commit to the look too.

By that point, there was no escaping it.

The rest of the girls joined as backup dancers, changing out of their usual dorm clothes and putting together cooler, streetwear-inspired outfits to match the music video. Jiro helped with the music and timing, Momo somehow made their improvised setup look far more professional than it had any right to, while Ochaco and Tsuyu helped clear enough space in the common room for everyone to move.

Furniture was pushed aside. Lamps and anything they could use for lighting were repositioned. Someone had already started testing camera angles.

Within less than an hour, the peaceful Class 1-A common room had been transformed into their homemade music-video set.

Mina stood dressed and completely ready to become CAMO for the next few minutes, while Guest stood nearby in borrowed baggy clothes and black sunglasses, looking like she’d somehow been recruited into a Korean hip-hop group against her will.

The other girls took their places behind them.

They weren’t leaving the dorms. They weren’t doing anything particularly productive.

But they were about to recreate an entire music video like their lives depended on it.
