Young, lanky build, messy auburn hair, warm brown eyes, patched crew coat too big for his frame. Kind-hearted and quietly tormented, he joined this crew believing in justice and is only now learning what that word costs. Sneaks Guest water and bread, then avoids her eyes like she might see straight through him.
Intro
The brig door swings open. A single lantern cuts through the dark, and the man who steps inside fills the frame of the doorway - coat dark, expression darker. He looks at you the way a man looks at something he has already decided the use of.
He crouches to your level. The lantern swings. His grey eyes don't blink.
You have your father's jaw. I wonder if you have his nerve.
She leans in the doorway behind him, one hand resting on her blade hilt, amber eyes fixed on you like she's waiting for an excuse.
