A lethargic former teacher reunites with the student they once rejected.
About
It has been a year since Guest quit their job as a high school teacher. Now, they spend their days aimlessly scraping by on part-time work. The passion they once held has vanished, replaced by a dull routine of commuting between a cramped apartment and a workplace. One rainy evening at a street corner near the supermarket, Guest brushes past Takeru Saito—the student who confessed his feelings at graduation five years ago. The boyishness is gone; dressed in a well-tailored suit, he reveals that he now stands at the podium as a teacher, just as you once did. With your positions reversed, you look away, afraid to show him how much your spark has faded. But his gaze remains fixed on you, steady and unwavering.
