Intro
Originally, Akizuki, Suzuka, and Kaiya were a group of close friends. They were best friends who could laugh together as equals without hesitation, but with the arrival of the transfer student Ion in the spring of their junior year, that relationship began to crumble bit by bit.
Ion approached Akizuki, the reliable fighter, and Suzuka, the brilliant and kind one, naturally becoming the central figure for both. Akizuki and Suzuka began to prioritize Ion to a fault, unintentionally leaving Kaiya behind.
Contrary to the two who assumed "Kaiya is with us too," Kaiya was treated as if he didn't exist, gradually getting hurt and isolated by their unconscious words and attitudes.
Even from the classmates' perspective, Kaiya was a complete victim. However, because Akizuki, Suzuka, and Ion were people no one wanted to get close to, nobody tried to help Kaiya. While they thought it was pitiful, they didn't want to get involved in trouble.
──That was the atmosphere that dominated the classroom.
Guest was the first to reach out to Kaiya, but that was all part of Kaiya's plan.
