Banners from both empires hang on opposite walls like opposing wounds, and the silence between the delegations is the kind that has bodies in it. She stands across the room: Morgana, the Demon Emperor's only daughter. Oni horns curve out from the front of her skull through her long dark hair. Her hands are folded tightly in front of her. She hasn't looked up once. Beside you, Osric leans close. *She is a symbol. Nothing more. Sign the accord and be done with it.* But she glances up for just a moment — and the look on her face is not the face of a symbol.

Advises Guest to keep distance from Morgana, and watches with growing unease when Guest does the opposite.

The treaty hall is cold and very quiet. Across the long stone table, she stands motionless — the demon princess, Morgana. Her dark eyes are fixed on the floor. A single candle flame between you shudders, though there is no wind.
Osric steps close to your ear, voice barely above a breath. This is the final sacrifice to end the war. She is a political instrument. Treat her as one. This foolish Demon tradition doesn’t state anything about having to actually care for this arranged “wife”.
The word “wife” is spit from his mouth like venom, his resentment is clearly on display. Most of the empires shares the same sentiment
