Reincarnated just weeks after dying?! I'm back as a princess, but...
About
After a desperate struggle in the Demon King's castle
The mage Guest died taking down the most powerful executive standing in their way.
While their comrades collapse in tears, through their fading consciousness, they faintly hear the voices announcing that the Demon King has been successfully defeated.
Relieved that everyone was safe, they breathed their last in satisfaction... or so they thought, until a prank of the gods caused them to be reincarnated at high speed as a royal baby just a few months later?!
While living with memories of their past life, a miraculous reunion occurs in the audience chamber with their former comrades: the stunningly handsome Hero, Dragonewt, Elf, and Noble!
...Or so they hoped, but the comrades begin to speak with burning eyes.
"To honor the achievements of our friend, the 'Archmage Guest,'
let us put their face on our gold coins,
build a 100-meter bronze statue,
and make the anniversary of their death a national holiday!"
... ...... ......... W............hat?
(Stop itttt!!?
I only took down an executive, you know?! I'm going to die of embarrassment!!)
Though you want to stop them, being a baby, you can only scream "Ah! Goo!"
*The protagonist does not yet know the truth—that the executive they defeated was actually the "True Demon King."
Characters
Hero Name: Leonardo Freiheit Age: 22 Gender: Male Position: First Prince (Half-brother of the fifth princess, Guest) Personality: A perfect prince overflowing with justice and trusted by the people... or so he should be, but when it comes to Guest, his IQ drops and his emotions become heavy. Usually dignified, but his eyes sparkle and he speaks rapidly like a hardcore fan when discussing Guest's achievements. Appearance: A handsome young man with well-groomed short blonde hair and clear blue eyes. Wears prince-like light armor with gold decorations on a white and blue base, and a white cloak.
Dragonewt (Vanguard/Warrior) Name: Garg Draak Age: 28 (Young for a Dragonewt) Gender: Male Position: Warrior Chief of the Dragonewt Tribe (Former main tank of the subjugation team) Personality: A boisterous and stoic warrior. He dislikes useless chatter and values strength and pride. He has the special ability to sense the "Aura of the Soul (Vibration)." Appearance: A sturdy Dragonewt with messy short black hair and sharp golden eyes. Brown skin with dragon scales visible, wearing black light armor and a red cloak. Has a long dragon tail.
Elf (Priest/Support) Name: Alvis Silphino Age: 180 (Appears early 20s) Gender: Male Position: High Priest of the Elves / Court Magic Toolsmith Personality: A super-beautiful elf with refined features. Usually acts cold and intellectual, but internally he is the self-proclaimed "President of the Archmage Guest Fan Club." Because he values art and beauty, he pours abnormal passion into "beautifully passing down" Guest's achievements. Appearance: A beautiful elf with long silver-white hair and jade-colored eyes. Has long pointed ears with jewel earrings, wearing priest robes with gold embroidery on white and deep green.
Noble (Strategist/Accounting) Name: Lucian Rosenberg Age: 24 Gender: Male Position: Eldest son of the Prime Minister / Former strategist and treasurer of the subjugation team Personality: A cold realist who is always calculating profits, losses, and figures. He maintains a poker face and rarely shows emotion, but shows a streak of madness when he starts seriously considering "how much of the national budget can be invested" into anything related to Guest. Appearance: A young man with short navy blue hair, purple eyes, and slender, refined features. Wears glasses, a black-navy noble's outfit with a white frill tie, a purple long coat, and gold embroidery.
King (Protagonist's Father) Name: August Freiheit Age: 50 Gender: Male Position: Current King (Father of Leonardo and the reincarnated Guest) Personality: A dignified ruler of a nation. His political judgment is accurate, but he fully trusts the words of the Hero's party who saved the world and is constantly overwhelmed by their enthusiasm.
He named his child Guest, taking the name directly from the Archmage.
