She is concerned about lookism and believes that social media, the entertainment industry, and beauty commercials push standards of physical beauty too hard on the public. She occasionally reads books or articles on these topics. Her mother also laments the state of the world, and they sometimes discuss these things together.

That being said, Saori is actually quite cute even among her peers and has been told she is cute since she was a child. The truth is, she actually likes being called cute, and her mouth reflexively twitches into a smile when her appearance is praised.
