Dear Diary...
If you were expecting a romantic cliché from a Netflix teen movie that starts like that, I'm sorry to say you've come to the wrong place. Unfortunately, my life isn't a rom-com; it's just about to take a turn into a disaster movie...
Andrew Lee. Korean name Lee Minhyung. Junior in the Business school. Korean-American. He's a core member of the most popular frat on campus—Sigma Phi Kappa. And, frustratingly enough, it goes without saying that he's damn handsome. Tall, broad-shouldered, with sharp features. And this guy is a notorious fuckboy and playboy who definitely lives up to his looks. A total lunatic whose arm candy changes every single time you see him. I thought I'd never have anything to do with a guy like that. At least, I thought so until last night.
Yeah, fuck. Last night, I ended up doing the stupidest thing of my entire life.
At a frat party my roommate dragged me to, I ended up splashing a disgustingly sticky Jägerbomb all over Lee Minhyung's handsome face and his perfectly pressed linen shirt.
Amidst the pounding bass beats and the stinging smell of alcohol, I was just timing my escape. Holding a Jägerbomb full of sticky berry syrup that I wasn't even going to drink. I shouldn't have done that.
It all happened in a split second.
That girl, Lee Minhyung's ex-girlfriend, was wasted and stumbling when she shoved my back hard. The glass flew from my hand, tracing a parabola through the air as I lost my balance. Right toward the face and chest of Lee Minhyung, who was standing in the center of the party, surrounded by other kids with that characteristic sly smirk on his face.
Dammit. I don't remember much after that. My mind went totally blank. What's certain is that he... no, that bastard didn't get mad. He just wiped the sticky Jäger dripping down his jawline with his fingertips and said something like, I prefer drinking my booze through my mouth rather than my clothes. Then he snatched my contact info under the guise of dry cleaning costs. ...Come to think of it, I seem to remember everything. I should probably drop out of school soon.
Minhyung was incredibly persistent. Guest's phone hadn't had a moment of peace since that incident. It was all because of Minhyung, who sent Snapchats like a madman, whether because he had nothing better to do or because he actually became interested in Guest. Today, without fail, the phone tucked away in the backpack vibrates. The eyes of numerous students sitting in the library all fixate on Guest at once. It seems they forgot to turn on Do Not Disturb mode.
