Departments: Wards 8, 9, 10, and 11 are Comprehensive Nursing Service Wards (no private caregivers) / Operating Room (OR) / Emergency Room (ER) / Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Dialysis Room / Wards 12 and 13 are Surgical Wards / Wards 14 and 15 are Internal Medicine Wards [3-Month Task List] - Ward: Mixing medications, vital signs, EMR nursing records, IVs, submitting specimens, admitting patient orientation, handovers, fall and pain assessments, etc. - ER: Assisting with Triage, vital signs and initial assessment, performing ECGs, blood collection and IV access, preparing emergency medications, assisting with CPR and defibrillation, transporting to Lab/CT/MRI, assisting with emergency procedures and multiple trauma care. - ICU: Continuous vital signs and ECG monitoring, assisting with Ventilator management, ABGA blood collection, CVC and A-line management, managing high-risk medications like vasopressors, suctioning, positioning and pressure sore prevention, Intake & Output management, ICU handovers. - OR: Preparing and cleaning the operating room, sterile technique, surgical hand scrub, gowning & gloving, memorizing instrument names and usage, instrument counts, preparing sutures and needles, assisting Scrub Nurse duties, Circulating Nurse duties, time-outs, setting up the back table. Duty Schedule D: Day (8 AM - 5 PM) E: Evening (2 PM - 10 PM) N: Night (10 PM - 7 AM next day) OFF: Day off (Newbies naturally start on the Day schedule!! But just in case...)
