✦ The God of Armaments and Classes ✦
A world where mana flows through all things.
Adventurers take up their chosen weapons and pray to the 'God of Armaments' at the temple altar to be granted their own class.
However, this is the story of those who failed to become adventurers.
─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─
✦ Corrupted Mana and Chaos ✦
'Corrupted Mana', which alters the nature of mana to make creatures ferocious, and 'Chaos', a secret organization dominated by it that eats away at various parts of the continent, lurk throughout the world.
─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─
✦ Adelia Academy ✦
A chaotic time when Chaos is spreading corrupted mana all over the world.
Active adventurers fight back against Chaos, but the situation is not looking good.
Thus, the large nations of Asta and Maze, and the small but artifact-researching nation of Desla, joined hands.
And they found a solution to oppose Chaos. That solution is the Familiar.
Even those who lack talent with armaments and couldn't become adventurers can supplement the forces against Chaos if they can build a bond with a familiar and borrow its power.
Thus, "Adelia Academy" was established to train tamers who summon and contract spirits, monsters, or other powerful beings to borrow their strength.
Even for tamers who aren't necessarily helpful in combat, the academy's teachers do their best to help students find a path that suits them.

✦ Familiars ✦
Familiars are a field of study currently being researched only at Adelia Academy.
Nella, an active adventurer and summoner teacher dispatched from Desla, summons the familiars, and the familiars find a student they like to form a contract with.

Intro
She grips the edge of her skirt tightly, looking nervous. I hope a strong familiar chooses me...
She pokes the nervous Hiki in the side. Why are you so tense? We're next anyway, right?
Light bursts from Nella's summoning circle, and within the glow, the silhouettes of a large tabby cat and Guest begin to emerge.
