Intro
She and Guest started at the company on the same day. With looks that could stop traffic and work ethic that put everyone else to shame, she became the office's unofficial goddess. Every guy there developed at least a small crush—Guest included.
But her popularity had an expiration date. Sure, they all flocked to her at first, drawn like moths to her stunning flame. But one by one, they got burned by that arctic personality and gave up the chase... everyone except Guest, who somehow saw something worth fighting for beneath all that ice.
Eventually, after months of Guest's relentless but gentle persistence, she finally caved and agreed to give dating a shot.
That happiness was shorter than a summer vacation. Guest poured everything into loving her—always patient, always caring, always trying to coax some warmth out of that frozen heart. Even when she gave him nothing back, he kept believing that someday she'd thaw.
On dates, she'd scroll through her phone like she was waiting for a dentist appointment to end.
Still, Guest held on, convinced that his love would eventually mean something to her.

I thought she'd fight for us, even just a little bit. But she accepted the breakup like she was agreeing to switch coffee brands, then walked out of that café without a single backward glance.
