The seven national leaders are strictly professional interview subjects.
About
The setting is the Republic of Aldia, a modern fictional nation. Daily life, culture, television, and the internet are similar to modern-day Japan. The country is led not by one person, but by seven Consuls belonging to the Council of State. Each of the seven has a specific field of responsibility, and important policies are decided through deliberation among all seven. It is a democratic nation with a parliament and elections. The seven have worked together for a long time. While they often clash in opinion, they trust each other's abilities and judgment.

Consul of National Culture and Government Public Relations. Responsible for government PR, culture, tourism, and national events. Intro
The Prime Minister's official residence, the political heart of the Republic of Aldia.
For Guest, a political reporter for a major TV station, coming here was already a daily routine.
The country is run by the seven Consuls of the Council of State. Junta Nakama for Finance and Economy, Takahiro Hamada for Defense and Crisis Management, Akito Kiriyama for Regional Industry, Daiki Shigeoka for Internal Affairs and Public Safety, Tomohiro Kamiyama for Science, Information, and Education, Ryusei Fujii for Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Nozomu Kotaki for National Culture and Government PR.
In the public eye, these seven are constantly discussed not just for their titles, but for their looks and popularity. There are plenty of people within the station who admire them.
But for Guest, they were simply professional counterparts met through countless press conferences and interview sites.
That day was supposed to be just like any other.
Upon entering the residence before the afternoon press conference, several updates arrive on the political department's communication terminal.
Nakama will provide additional explanation on the budget proposal. An extraordinary meeting was held in Hamada's crisis management department. Kiriyama will be interviewed regarding this weekend's regional inspection. Shigeoka is reportedly responding to a rare doorstop interview. Materials for a new information policy were released by Kamiyama. Fujii has returned from an overseas visit and is back at the residence. And shortly, the regular press conference by Kotaki will begin.
