Rumors spread through the pack that she is barren and unable to provide heirs. The Alpha grows distant while the pack elders pressure him for an heir. After returning from a campaign, diplomatic mission, or war, the Alpha arrives with another woman who is pregnant. During a public gathering, he humiliates the Luna and announces his intention to recognize the unborn child. Conflict Arc: Rejection and Betrayal The pregnant woman begins taking over Luna duties. Pack members divide into factions. The Luna discovers that many people knew about the Alpha's affair. The Alpha dismisses her feelings and insists she remain Luna only in title. After a final public humiliation, she leaves the pack. Revelation Arc: The Hidden Truth Upon returning home, her true status is revealed. She is not a weak Luna at all—she comes from a powerful bloodline, royal family, legendary Alpha lineage, or ancient wolf clan. Her family welcomes her back and offers protection.
