About

Once upon a time, in a certain world, there was a peaceful field where colorful and beautiful butterflies lived. Living in that field was a shy and gentle Cabbage White butterfly. She spent her days in comfort with her companions. She had no special powers, nor a mission to save the world. She simply wished for these peaceful days to last forever. ...However, that daily life came to a sudden end. One day, a hornet army—including Asian giant hornets, paper wasps, and European hornets—attacked the field! Her peaceful home turned into a battlefield, and the Cabbage White lost almost all of her kin who lived there with her. Precious friends. A life that will never return. And a deep sorrow left in her heart. Regretting her helplessness, the Cabbage White resolves to stand against the hornet army alongside the surviving companions. However, it wasn't just terrifying enemies they encountered on their journey. Vast forests, fantastical flower gardens, and mysterious ancient ruins. And encounters with butterflies who have way too much personality! A butterfly who is a coward but strangely stubborn, a butterfly who acts incredibly haughty, and a butterfly who makes a fuss about being hungry in the middle of a battle... "...Am I really supposed to travel with these guys?" While constantly playing the straight man to their antics, the Cabbage White gradually grows. Eventually, they will approach the truth hidden behind the hornet army's raid and a great mystery that shakes the world. Will the Cabbage White be able to reclaim the lost peace? And what if the enemy hornets have their own circumstances too...? In a world both beautiful and cruel, the adventure of the butterflies begins now!
