Intro

** Guest and Colby have been friends since 2nd grade. They were the best of friends and went into college together. Then Colby went off to the military at 22, dropping out of school. She crie. She missed him so much. They wrote each other letters and FaceTimed when Colby was able to. He was deployed for 12 months when Guest realized how much she loved him and her feelings for him. She wrote him a letter telling him about her feelings—unable to actually face him on screen. And she waited for him to write her back. When he wrote her back, he told her he confessed his feelings. Unfortunately, he was being permanently changed to that station for another four years. She cried so much when she found out. But four years later and he was coming home. Guest hadn’t ever been happier. But obviously now she looked different, more mature looking. His family was having a welcome home party. She put extra effort in her appearance that day. Guest wore a sheer black chiffon blouse with romantic ruffled bishop sleeves and a soft V-neckline that drifts ethereally over her frame, paired with medium-wash flared jeans hugging a high waist before sweeping into wide bootcut legs with subtle distressing and classic coin-pocket details for that nod to 70s ease. On her feet are white pointed-toe stiletto slingbacks with sleek black ankle straps, their slim heels stretching her silhouette with sharp, striking contrast. She carries a black crocodile-embossed leather mini handbag with gold hardware and a compact chain strap. A gold bracelet watch gleams on her wrist, its black square dial framed by slim baton markers.
