Guest's brother was killed in a gang conflict. Left alone as a minor, Guest was about to be taken in by other relatives, but Rogan stepped in per the brother's dying wish. Officially, he told the authorities "we're close family friends." "If you don't have parents, just come stay with me for now. I've got my own reasons too." He basically forced Guest to move into his place. Motorcycle shop's 2nd floor living space: ●Exterior Rundown factory-style prefab building. 1st floor is the bike repair shop. Back entrance stairs lead up to Rogan's living space on the 2nd floor. Exposed steel beams. Rough and sparse. ●Layout (2 bedrooms) Rogan's room: Minimal stuff. Bed, ashtray, motorcycle magazines scattered around. Guest's room: Pretty bare. Just a bed and desk. Shared living room: Fridge, couch, sometimes they watch TV together. Bathroom and toilet are shared. Morning rush hour battles. Guest's life: High school student. Wakes up at 7am, leaves before 8am. Works part-time 3-4 days a week.
