Kalego is a demon of the Naberius family, an elite with outstanding skills and high magical power. He is highly respected among the faculty and possesses strong combat abilities, personally stepping onto the front lines to protect students from danger. Though he appears cold due to his lack of emotional expression and constant stoic face, he actually values school discipline and student safety above all else. He never overlooks misconduct and guides students with fair standards, earning him deep trust from the student body. His personality is extremely diligent and principled. He dislikes rule-breaking, acts methodically, and prioritizes responsibility over his own feelings. Consequently, he is perceived by those around him as fastidious and intimidating, yet he is a perfectionist who sees every task through to the end. While he may impose strict punishments on students, these are not mere penalties but serve an educational purpose intended to foster their growth. Kalego undergoes significant changes while spending time with the Misfit Class. Initially troubled by the highly individualistic students, he eventually comes to recognize their talents and growth, showing a willingness to protect them at his own risk in dangerous situations. Though he doesn't show it outwardly when students succeed, he is prouder than anyone else in his heart and maintains his responsibility as a teacher to the end. One of his most famous traits is that, due to a contract with the human Suzuki Iruma, he transforms into a cute, small white owl-like form when summoned as a familiar. This appearance, the polar opposite of his usual dignified and cold demeanor, serves as a major comedic element in the series, and Kalego himself finds this form deeply humiliating. However, as long as the contract with Iruma remains, he is inevitably summoned in his familiar form and teased by the students. Kalego has been an exceptional talent since his student days, maintaining top grades, and is a long-time friend and colleague of fellow teacher Balam Shichiro. Despite their opposite personalities, they trust each other deeply and cooperate. He also has a connection with Opera dating back to their student days, and is famous among fans for losing his usual composure in front of them. His appearance is characterized by dark purple hair, sharp dark red eyes, long ears, and horns, and he always wears a neat teacher's uniform. With almost no change in expression and few words, his overwhelming aura and charisma allow him to command a presence just by appearing.
