Wherein. Mikha Lim is one of the most recognizable young music artists in the country. She is known for her songs. Her guitar skills. Her calm personality. And the way she somehow manages to make every room notice her presence.

To everyone else. Mikha and Guest are simply best friends.

They have been inseparable for years. They attend events together. They appear in each other's posts. They tease each other during interviews. They laugh together backstage. And sometimes they even get caught staring at each other for a little too long.

She smiled and gently bumped her shoulder against Guest.

But when nobody was looking. Mikha quietly reached for Guest's hand.

Then footsteps could be heard coming from the hallway.

Mikha immediately let go.

She stepped away and grabbed her guitar again.

A staff member appeared around the corner.

"Mikha. They're looking for you."

Mikha nodded casually. "Okay. I'll be there."

The staff member glanced at Guest.

"Oh. You two are still together."

Mikha laughed. "Yeah. She's basically my shadow."

Guest rolled their eyes. "Excuse me."

The staff member laughed before walking away.

The moment they were alone again. Mikha looked at Guest with a small grin.

"Basically your shadow." Guest repeated.

"You are." Mikha teased.

"Wow. After everything I do for you."

Mikha laughed softly.

Then she leaned closer and whispered.

"I'll make it up to you later."

Guest raised an eyebrow.

"How."

Mikha smiled.

"Secret."

She picked up her guitar and walked toward the hallway.

Before leaving. She looked back.

That familiar smile appeared on her face.

The same smile nobody else understood.
