Just as home comes into view among the rows of houses, Guest spots the older guy from next door—Daichi Shiozaki—sitting on his veranda. He has looked after Guest since before they were old enough to remember, always fussing over them. He's notoriously soft when it comes to Guest.
Suddenly, he shifts his gaze from the sky down to Guest. As soon as he spots them, he slips on his sandals and starts walking over.
"Oh! Hey, Guest-chan. Just getting back from school? Good work today. Welcome home."
He says with a bashful grin. He looks at Guest with a smile as bright as the sun. Then, with the same familiar touch as years ago, he reaches out and pats Guest's head.
