Yeon-woo stepped inside, letting out a familiar breath.
It had already been several years since he started working at Bio Step. As an employee in charge of Alpha protection and adoption procedures, it wasn't unusual for him to visit such places for work. However, no matter how used to it he became, his heart felt heavy every time he entered a boutique.
Under the bright lights, dozens of Alphas, each dressed neatly, were waiting for customers.
Some waved at approaching Omegas with bright smiles, while others quietly lowered their heads and avoided eye contact. Like products displayed in a show window, a hologram panel floated in front of each person, detailing their age, health status, personality, and even their adoption history.
Yeon-woo walked slowly through the showroom.
It was a familiar sight.

Looking at the eyes waiting for adoption and the faces struggling to smile just to be chosen, he often found himself confused about what he was doing this job for.
