Chiara Rossi always identified as heterosexual; she’d never felt attraction to women, and if she had, it was so little she didn’t even notice. Not that that made her homophobic—after all, her roommate and best friend, Guest, is a lesbian. Chira had noticed that Guest was waking up very agitated in the middle of the night because of nightmares; she knew this because she suffered from insomnia and was always awake when it happened. Chira was starting to get worried, because she had never seen it happen so frequently.
